Welcome to the Extremely Unofficial Project Moon Kinkmeme!

What's a kinkmeme?

A kinkmeme is an anonymous fic (although art is welcome too!) meme, of a type that used to be relatively commonplace across fandom! All Project Moon works are welcome here. The premise is simple: comment on the current Prompt Post with a fic prompt you'd like someone to fill out, reply to other prompts with a fill of your own. In detail:

Prompts:

- Place the pairing, and any kinks or content warnings that apply in the subject line (example: Yujin/Tenma, knifeplay, Tenma finally confesses). If a pairing doesn't apply, say so.
- Write the details of your prompt in the body of the comment itself. It can be as brief or as elaborate as you'd like.

Fills:

- Place a title (if applicable), and any kinks or content warnings that apply in the subject line. Be sure to preface it with "Fill:"
- Example: "Fill: Binah/Gebura, dubcon fightsex", or "Fill: Gen, the librarians go to HamHamPangPang"
- Cross-posting is fine! If you post your fill on ao3, feel free to link it as a reply to the prompt. Should you wish to link back to the kinkmeme in your author's notes or elsewhere, that too is welcome!
- For art fills, please place a link to the image rather than embed it in the comment.

Rules:

- Be 18 or older.

We know we can't enforce this, so we're operating on the honor system, but let it be known that this is a requirement.

- Don't be an asshole.

This kinkmeme operates on Your Kink Is Not My Kink And That's Okay. Any kinkshaming, bigotry towards irl people, ship hate, character hate, general assholery will be deleted. Start wank on your own time.

- Anon is strongly encouraged.

It wouldn't be an anon meme if it wasn't anon, right? Feel free to post your fic off-site on places like AO3 or twitter, but here posting while anonymous is the default.

- Use content warnings.

Be sure to warn appropriately in the subject line for any triggering content, including: rape/noncon, dubious consent/dubcon, bestiality, underage, drug abuse, graphic violence, major character death, suicide, etc. Spoiler warnings are "choose not to warn" and left to your own discretion.

- Please refrain from reposting your prompt.

Self-explanatory. Please only post your prompt once.

- Multiple fills for the same prompt are allowed and encouraged!

Even if you already see a fill for a specific prompt, feel free to add your own! The more the merrier.

Questions or concerns for the mods can be left on this post, and we'll do our best to get to them in a timely manner! Comments will be screened by default, IP logging is off.

Hello! Thanks for making this kinkmeme happen =) I have two questions:

1. Is it OK to answer a prompt with a link to the fill hosted elsewhere (would be AO3 in my case), or would you like the full text posted here?

2. I'll post (or cross-post) on AO3, so I'd like to know if it's fine with you if I link to this kinkmeme in my author notes? I'd warn that it's 18+ only, and link to the rules.

1. Yes, feel free to answer any prompt with a link to the fill on ao3! I'll update the rules to reflect this, too.

2. It's absolutely fine to link to the kinkmeme in author notes, as well!

hello!

i'm very new to this sort of thing, in fact i've never used dreamwidth before.

my question is, since we're all posting anonymously, is there any way to be notified when someone replies to a comment you made? i made a post in the prompt thread & i replied to some older anons which didn't have any replies, and i just want to make sure that they can see they got a response and so i can know when i get a response.

(love what you guys have set up here btw)

Hello! Deeply, deeply sorry about the late response on this one—it got a bit lost in the inbox.

Unfortunately, for anonymous users there's no real way to track a specific thread. If you have a dreamwidth account it's possible to track a post, but that will give you notifications for all replies to the post, instead of specific threads. You can set your notifications to just top-level comments, which will let you know if someone's posted a new prompt, but that unfortunately doesn't solve your problem.

The best you can do short of tracking the whole post is going back to check the thread in question every so often.

so I've been wondering--- the kinkmeme post is labeled with a #1. is there a threshold to the amount of pages the mods will allow it to have before a second post is made? just out of curiosity

this is a good question!

Dreamwidth posts cap out at about 5000 comments total before the captcha starts kicking in, and the first post is a good ways off from that, but should there be a particularly huge uptick in comments we'll probably consider shifting Post 1 to fill/discussion-only and making a Post 2 at around the halfway point (2500) or so, if we ever hit that. That might change depending on unforeseen factors, but for now assume that's the case.

I'm not really sure if this is the place to put this, but I made a spreadsheet with each prompt and you can filter for character/ship/kinks/fill status.
